Ryan is an enterprise software veteran who specializes in high availability cloud architecture, design-driven product development, and hybrid global delivery teams. Ryan is a founder of Kickdrum where he leads the private equity diligence and value creation practice.
Prior to Kickdrum, Ryan spent 5 years leading enterprise-grade engineering in Trilogy's Automotive business unit, followed by 9 years at Trilogy subsidiary Versata running delivery and cloud practices for the Ford Motor Company account.
In addition to deep Automotive experience, Ryan has special expertise in Healthcare and spent 2 years as Enterprise Architect at Health Management Associates (second largest for-profit hospital operator, acquired by Community Health Systems) followed by a role as acting CTO at Sheridan Healthcorp (acquired by AMSURG). He is the co-inventor on a patent in the field of software testing.
In college, Ryan led several projects at email and calendaring startup Jump Networks, which was acquired by Microsoft and relaunched as part of MSN (now Outlook.com). Ryan earned a BS in Computer Science with a concentration in Science & Technology Studies from Cornell University.
